Bonded by a love of Gryffindor House a hatred of Severus Snape and the ability to transform into animals James Sirius Remus and Peter became friends. Especially during the First Wizarding Wars they changed the war by joining Order of the Phoenix and lead the group. James became Prongs the stag Sirius was Padfoot the dog and Peter with more than a little help from his friends transformed into Wormtail the rat.

Its important to note that the range of years for the Harry Potter books has now been established. The wizarding world is recovering and Hogwarts is re-opened. Harry Potter struggles to become a good DADA teacher but its hard when a large portion of his mind is commandeered by four familiar Marauders.
